Fitness on Demand is the hot new way to get in shape at the Illinois Valley YMCA! It’s group exercise classes all the time. Classes will range from the industry’s most popular exercise videos like Yoga, Cycling to STRIKE, HardCore Fitness and so much more!

A lot of people prefer to work out in a group and this cutting-edge fitness technology delivers group exercise classes without the need of a live instructor!

Fitness on Demand creates an engaging group exercise experience anywhere, thanks to its HD projector, huge 120″ motorized screen, audio receiver and 4-way speaker system.

Fitness on Demand allows us to offer more for our members, by bringing the industry’s best group exercise classes to the Illinois Valley YMCA. With Fitness on Demand, we will offer a wide variety of classes all the time, making it convenient for all of our members!

Treadmill Boot Camp

will get your hump day started on Wednesday mornings intense class that will provide you with a mix of cardio and weights. You will on the treadmill hitting the hills, speeding through some sprints and mixing in some weights!

Bike Boot Camp

Get your day started off on the right TIRE! Join Angie while she leads you through a fast paced, hilly, bike workout mixed with weights that will be sure to get your day going first thing in the morning!

Power Plyo

Are you looking for better balance, a high intensity total body workout, and want to have
fun at the same time in just 40 minutes?? Power Plyo is for you! This is a high-impact class that puts new twists on old plyometric and power moves. Using interval training techniques Power Plyo keeps your heart pumping and your muscles working.

Beginning Bike Basics

Step up to the bike with Beginning Bike Basics! Our YMCA instructors will teach you how to set up your bike, choose wheel tension, proper hand placement and so much more!

Beginner Grit and Gentle Yoga Strength

Try this introductory class to ease into the ever popular Grit Series. Try 10 minutes of each, Grit Plyo, Cardio and Strength. End with a Gentle Yoga Stretch to round out an amazing upbeat workout!

Beginner Yoga Blend

Beginner Yoga Blend is a gentle class. It is appropriate for anyone who is new to yoga or rediscovering yoga. This class is designed for students who want a gentle practice. We will be focusing on introductory poses with an emphasis on alignment, breath/body awareness and gentle strength building. This practice will help to cultivate an appreciation for the feeling of the shapes and movement of yoga postures and the freedom and vitality gained through breathing consciously and coordinating the movement of the breath and the body.

CIZE Live!

Tired of your workout? It’s time to WORK IT! Don’t call it a workout, but great dancing the way it’s designed is hard work! The more you get into it, the more you’ll get out of it! Performing these pulse-pounding, thrilling routines is serious cardiovascular training, core strengthening and over muscle toning, all at once! The class will be broken down in moves step-by-step, as you go, so you can learn them, repeat them until you’re comfortable. Put the sequence together, then you’ll be busting out a full routine You’ll be amazed at how good you do and how good you feel!
